Big Girls Sit!!!

Avery has had a big week of starting to be a big girl! She has rolled over for the first time, although, she has only shown that trick to Daddy, slept through the night pretty consistently (7:00-5:30), learned to talk her goo goos or ga gas, and sat up by herself in the Bumbo seat. As you can see her hand is still her favorite and most amusing toy that she can be preoccupied by for most of her day.

Pouty Face

Avery's last month can be described with her pouty face you see. Poor Avery has finally found some food she likes that doesn't upset her tummy so badly that the feeding process results in a screaming war! As Daddy says though, she has already started to have expensive taste- her Nutramigen formula is double or triple the cost of most formulas. But... we all know that we've got to do what we can to keep babies happy and eating!

Avery is already learned to work the camera and show her smile and funny facial expressions!

Little Person

As each day comes and goes it's absolutely amazing how Avery has started to look more and more like a little person. But as you all know she looks just like Daddy!

Action Avery

"Avery Grace" as Mommy and Daddy, so lovingly call her, all the time has become quite action packed and now likes to move, move, move when she is playing. As you can see it's become very hard to take a clear picture of her! She now can grasp and play with her rattles and all kinds of toys. Don't let her fool you she may look small, but she has a strong grip for such a little thing.

Avery's Baby Shower in Battle Creek

I think Avery is the luckiest girl around, as she had the coolest Baby Shower a little girl could have with Grandma Herron and Aunt Nicole at Southern Exposure. She got all dressed up for all the ladies that attended and enjoyed every minute of the party. If there was any question about Avery Grace's fashion- there is no longer as she is now going to be the girliest girl possible with all of her new sun dresses, hair accessories, tights, and shoes, but no worries as she'll still be able to go play softball with Grandpa Herron with her pink and purple mitt and ball!

Today Avery has transitioned to being a big enough girl to lay down and smile, kick, and look around for play time for quite a while every time she's up. Here are some pics of her smiles- she's definitely going to ham it up for all the boys some day.
